Noida, March 28, 2028 — The Noida International Airport has unveiled a new brand identity featuring the Sarus crane—Uttar Pradesh’s state bird—as its official logo, in a move aimed at blending cultural symbolism with global ambition.
“The initiative reflects the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has consistently emphasized balancing rapid infrastructure growth with environmental consciousness and cultural preservation,” said the CM office in a media statement.
The Sarus crane, known for its elegance and deep association with the region’s natural heritage, has been chosen to represent the airport’s identity on the world stage. Officials said the decision underscores the state government’s broader theme of “development with heritage,” positioning Uttar Pradesh as both modern and rooted in tradition.
The newly designed logo incorporates sleek, unified lines to convey speed, efficiency, and seamless connectivity—key attributes of a world-class aviation hub. A blue-green gradient dominates the visual palette, symbolizing harmony between technological advancement and environmental sustainability, in line with the state’s green development policies.
At the heart of the design is a flying Sarus, representing aspiration, confidence, and upward momentum. The imagery aligns with Uttar Pradesh’s push to emerge as a global destination for investment, logistics, and connectivity.
Officials noted that the branding effort is intended to give the airport a distinctive international identity while also reflecting local ethos. Beyond being a transport hub, the airport is being envisioned as a symbol of the state’s evolving narrative—where infrastructure, ecology, and culture intersect.
“The Noida International Airport, currently under development in Jewar, is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting regional connectivity and economic growth. With its new logo, the project aims to project not just scale and efficiency, but also a uniquely Indian identity rooted in Uttar Pradesh’s heritage,” added the media statement.
