New Delhi, December 25: Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Park, located opposite the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, was adorned with creativity and colour on Monday morning as it hosted the ‘Good Governance Day’. On the spot painting competition was organized by GYAN Foundation to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The central theme of the event centered on “Governance & Social Empowerment through Modi Govt’s Vision”. BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B L Santhosh, BJP National Office Secretary, Mahendra Nath Pandey, State General Secretary (Org) Rajasthan, Chandrashekar and BJP Delhi President Virendraa Sachdeva attended the event.
The event provided a platform to young artists to showcase their creativity and vision. Speaking on the occasion, Sachdeva gave an account of the achievements of the Central government. “India has embarked on a path of growth and development. This journey is a continuation of the legacy of Atal Bihari Vajpayee,” said Sachdeva.
Chandrashekar praised the governance model established by Vajpayee and connected it with the current government’s efforts. “The legacy of Vajpayee’s exceptional governance serves as a continual source of inspiration. The initiatives launched by the current government align perfectly with his vision, aiming to empower our society and fortify our governance systems,” he added.
BJP national vice president Baijayant Jay Panda, national general secretary Radha Mohan Das Agarwal, former Union Minister Harsh Vardhan also attended the event. The BJP national general secretary Tarun Chug gave away the awards to the winners. A total of 300 participants took part in the competition. Founder of GYAN Sumeet Bhasin highlighted the role of art in conveying powerful messages and promoting social change.
