The first meeting of the parliamentary committee on ONOE this week was held in parliament. The Opposition members in the committee asked the government to provide data to substantiate claims made in the premises of unveiling the idea before the nation.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders in their individual efforts have come up with hoardings in various parts of the country to hail the legislative bill for holding simultaneous elections in the country. The major premise of holding the simultaneous elections in the country is saving expenditure. But some of the Opposition MPs have claimed that expenses saved through the effort will not be more than some of the political parties spend during the elections.
“The fourth lecture, on January 20, will discuss ‘Vaishvik Aatankvad Samadhan – Bharatiya Sanskriti ke Pariprekshya Mein (Global Terrorism Solutions – Indian Cultural Perspectives)’,” added the state government in the statement.
