Donald Trump Picks ‘Deep State’ Basher Kash Patel to Head FBI
Trump Picks Kash Patel, 24X7 Declassification Advocate, for FBI Job

New Delhi, December 1: The US President-elect Donald Trump announced that he has picked up Kashyap ‘Kash’ Patel as the next director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Trump hailed Patel for busting “Russia hoax” in the past.
Trump listed his long wish list from Patel with dismantling of the “human and drug trafficking” in the spotlight. The US-based political commentators claimed that Patel is most controversial choice of Trump for his second administration that begins early next month.
Patel in a podcast recently bared his thoughts on ‘Deep State’, calling it corrupt and ugly part of the US eco-system that protects a particular political interest groups while carrying out vicious activities. Podcaster Ian Miles Cheong shared a podcast clip of Patel in which he said that the “FBI had been weaponised against political targets that they hated”.
“He (Patel) played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax, standing as an advocate for truth and accountability,” Trump said in his announcement. Patel served Trump in his first term as the chief of the staff at the Department of Defence, besides intelligence and counter-intelligence wings of the US.
Patel in his utterances has also hit out at the Department of Justice and the FBI working in cahoots as wings of ‘Deep State’. Patel argues for declassification of all secret documents. He argues that classified papers such as ‘JFK Files and Russiangate’ be all made available to the people.
“As a director intelligence in the FBI, I found out the text messages between entities which called for targeting Trump. This is why I say that declassification be done 24X7; let all the files and memos be revealed,” Patel told the podcaster.
Arguing for revealing the 9/11 papers, Kash told another podcaster that declassification has been over-abused. He has written a book ‘Government Gangster’.
“I’d shutdown the FBI Hoover building on Day 1 and reopen it the next day as a museum of the deep state,” said Patel while promoting his book that chronicles the murky affairs of the US Department of Justice and the FBI.
Patel had also served in the Barack Obama administration as the National Security Protector at the Department of Justice. The Republicans credit Patel for blunting Democrats attacks on Trump over his alleged links with Russia and President Vladimir Putin.
