Lucknow, October 25, 2025 —Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an on-site inspection of the Noida International Airport (NIA) at Jewar, reviewing the final stages of construction and preparations ahead of its much-anticipated inauguration.

During his visit, the Chief Minister inspected key areas including the domestic terminal, inauguration venue, security management, and traffic arrangements. He also assessed the progress of ongoing construction work and directed officials to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Following the site visit, Yogi Adityanath chaired a high-level review meeting at the airport’s boardroom with senior officials from the district administration, police, Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL), and the concessionaire company overseeing the airport’s construction. A detailed PowerPoint presentation was given on the project’s progress, upcoming milestones, and inauguration plans.

The Chief Minister emphasized that all preparations must be completed within the stipulated timelines to ensure passengers enjoy a seamless and secure travel experience. “Noida International Airport is set to become a symbol of Uttar Pradesh’s rapid development. Quality, punctuality, and coordination should remain our top priorities,” he said.

Reviewing arrangements for the public rally and inaugural event, Adityanath directed officials to ensure proper land levelling, sanitation, lighting, security, potable water, toilets, and other essential amenities for public convenience. He also instructed authorities to strengthen beautification, cleanliness, and passenger amenities in and around the airport.

The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of road and metro connectivity projects linked to the airport, stressing their timely completion. He called for a comprehensive and coordinated traffic and security management plan to handle the anticipated influx of travellers and dignitaries during the inauguration.

Officials from Yamuna International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (YIAPL), including the CEO and COO, presented updates on technical, safety, and operational aspects—covering runway readiness, airside operations, passenger services, and CISF-led security arrangements. The Chief Minister reiterated that any lapse in safety protocols would be unacceptable and ordered the establishment of two new police stations within the airport premises with adequate personnel deployment.

Yogi Adityanath also reviewed firefighting facilities, road connectivity, logistics infrastructure, water treatment plants, drainage systems, and parking arrangements, underscoring his commitment to making Jewar Airport a model of modern aviation infrastructure.
