New Delhi, October 26: At least four Iranian military personnel had been killed after Israel launched attacks in three provinces of Iran. Iran released images of warplanes. Four women air force pilots had also launched the attacks deep into Iran.
Iran has warned Israel within hours of attacks with counter actions. Iran claimed that the air defence system effectively neutralized the Israeli attacks.
The UN chief Antonio Guterres in a statement said that he is “deeply alarmed” by the escalation of violence in the Middle East. The Islamic nations in the Middle East called for de-escalation. The UAE, Saudi Arabia and others condemned Israeli attacks on Iran.

After Israel carried out air strikes on Iran, Guterres called for de-escalation. The UN chief called for “maximum efforts to prevent an all-out regional war”.
Al Jazeera reported, quoting Iranian sources, that Iran raised the death toll from Israel’s attack to four persons. The deceased had been serving in Iran’s military air defence, said the Qatar-based news outlet.
Saudi Arabian news portal site Elaph quoted an informed source, saying that “Israel struck Iran’s solid-fuel missile plant”. The portal claimed that the plant faced massive destructions. It may not be able to produce missiles for years, added the Saudi portal.
Israel War Room also in a post on X said that air strikes targeted an Iranian solid-fuel plant crucial to the production of Kheibar and Qasem ballistic missiles, which were fired at Israel earlier this month. Iran had launched missile attacks on Israel twice.
Reports said that Israel had pressed into action F-15D and F-16D Strike Fighters last night from Tel Nof Airbase in Central Israel as well as Ramat David Airbase in Northern Israel. They were airborne for precision-strikes against military targets inside Iran.

“Israel’s precision strikes on missile sites in Iran reflect a careful show of force, aimed at asserting military capability without triggering full-scale conflict,” said Al Arabia in a report while quoting military experts. Israel had also warned Iran against resorting to retaliatory attacks.
But The Economist in a report on Saturday said that Israel is preparing grounds for big attacks against Iran. The world in the last few days had been anticipating an Israeli attack against Iran after the leak of a purported classified paper.
Dozens of Israeli fighter jets after flying for more than 1200 kms also targeted the air defence system of Iran. Middle East conflict experts have also been arguing that Israel’s window to wage a limited war with Iran has a fixed timeline till the unveiling of the next US presidency.
