Becky G to reveal emotional outpourings in next album ‘Encuentros’

New Delhi, August 30: The Mexican American singing sensation Becky G, Rebbeca Marie Gomez, announced her new album ‘Encuentros’. With a video of her singing ‘Como Diablos’ in a junkyard, Becky G unveiled her further self-discovery.

Becky G hopes that she will charm her fans with the new album ‘Encuentros’. She is building on to anticipation with the last year’s successful release of ‘Esquinas’.

“In every corner I found a part of me. I found where my passion comes from, my way of loving, my strength, my peace and much more,” posted Becky G on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, while unveiling ‘Como Dialblos’.

The singer lets her fans know the feelings that are taking Becky G on the next singing tour. “They tell me they want more and I promise there’s more to come,” added Becky G.

Sharing the making of the next album, the singer also stated that “my last album Esquinas started a fire within my creative soul that brought new colors to my world and deep down inside I knew I couldn’t stop there”.

“So, I didn’t. Since last year, I continued discovering, feeling, healing and creating. All of the parts of me that I found along the way, I have now poured into this album with so much love and dedication,” added Becky G.

The musical sensation said that there’s more to reveal from her. “You guys said you wanted more, and so did I. Through the corners of life, we meet again,” said Becky G as she shared the tour details.

She announced that ‘Encuentros’ will be out on October 10. Becky G shot to musical sensations by first posting her songs on YouTube.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Becky G said: “I feel like ‘Esquinas’ was a process of removal: removing everything that I’m not to become everything that I’ve always truly been on the inside.”

The singer also told the web-magazine that “I don’t want to abandon this world that I feel so safe in as an artist”

She said that there had been no interruptions in her creative journey. She brings her next album now. “I want to expand it. And as soon as ‘Esquinas’ was out we continued making music. We didn’t stop,” she told Rolling Stone.

Becky G is stage name of Rebbeca Marie Gomez. She was born on March 2, 1997. She is also songwriter and rapper.

She shot to the musical sensations by posting several videos of herself performing remixes of popular songs on YouTube.

“Becky embarked on her first headlining tour last year after years of anticipation — she’s made countless key appearances at music festivals like Coachella and appeared as a guest act on tours with Katy Perry and Demi Lovato — and released her first regional Mexican and Mexican pop-infused album, ‘Esquinas’,” described Variety in a feature on the Mexican-American singer.
