LUCKNOW, September 10, 2025 — The Yogi government is turning the spotlight on Uttar Pradesh’s rich culinary heritage at the upcoming UP International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025, set to take place from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. In its third edition, the mega event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will bring together crafts, culture, and cuisine under one roof.
With the theme ‘Swaad Uttar Pradesh’, the food section of the trade show will feature 25 vibrant stalls spread from Gate No. 3 to Hall No. 7, offering delicacies from every corner of the state. Domestic and international buyers will experience Muradabadi Dal, Banarasi Lassi, Mathura’s Peda, Jain Shikanji from Modinagar, Agra’s world-famous Panchi Petha, Khurja’s Khurchan, and Lucknow’s Awadhi treats, among others.
A spacious hangar, supported by a 100-kilowatt power supply, will host these stalls to ensure smooth presentation and service. More than a food showcase, the initiative aims to position UP’s unique food brands and MSME entrepreneurs on national and international platforms, boosting gastronomy tourism and market access.
“This segment is like a food festival inside a trade show,” said organizers, adding: “For international buyers, it’s a chance to taste the entire state in one place.”
As UPITS 2025 approaches, the ‘Swaad UP Ka’ pavilion promises to be a star attraction, blending tradition, enterprise, and culinary identity to promote Uttar Pradesh’s gastronomic potential worldwide.
With Russia’s official participation, UPITS 2025 marks a new era of global partnerships and economic collaboration, said an official in the state government.
