LUCKNOW, September 17, 2025 — Uttar Pradesh is preparing to showcase a vibrant mix of culture, technology, and investment potential at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show-2025 (UPITS-2025), set to take place from September 25–29 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state’s Tourism Department will unveil a modern, eco-friendly pavilion designed to attract both visitors and global investors.
The pavilion, equipped with digital storytelling, AR/VR installations, auto-navigation kiosks, and selfie zones, aims to offer an immersive tourism experience. Alongside cutting-edge features, live performances will showcase Uttar Pradesh’s cultural richness—Peacock Dance of Braj, Bundeli Dance of Jhansi, Kathak from the Lucknow Gharana, and tribal dances from Sonbhadra and Lakhimpur.
Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to positioning tourism as a core driver of Uttar Pradesh’s $1 trillion economy vision. The pavilion will also spotlight spiritual, Buddhist, rural, and wellness tourism through the department’s mobile app, while promoting One District One Product (ODOP), handicrafts, temple architecture, and rural tourism innovations.
For investors, the state will highlight PPP-ready heritage projects, capital subsidies, land allotment, tax exemptions, and single-window clearances. Dedicated B2B lounges, interaction spaces, and media kits will ensure meaningful engagement with policymakers, business leaders, and international stakeholders.
Principal Secretary Mukesh Kumar Meshram noted that the pavilion is designed to go beyond an exhibition, presenting a holistic showcase of Uttar Pradesh’s heritage, policy vision, and sustainable tourism practices. He added that tourism not only supports employment generation but also converts heritage into a source of income, aligning with the broader Viksit India @ 2047 vision.
By merging cultural showcases with modern investment opportunities, UPITS-2025 will position Uttar Pradesh as a competitive global tourism hub.
