Trump vs Obama Goes Interstellar amid Alien Files Row

From Obama’s jokes on unexplained aerial phenomena to Trump’s order on classified disclosures, the Trump Alien Files Release debate pushes America’s political rivalry into outer space.

New Delhi, February 20, 2026 — In America, political fights can escalate in the outer space as well. In Trumpian era in the US, aliens can come crashing into the political theatre. If Barack Obama says he at best believes there are unexplained aerial phenomenon, Donald Trump charges him with the release of “classified files.”

Obama has dwelt upon the ever-enchanting obsessions of Americans with aliens with humour. Trump is alien to humour. From novels to Hollywood blockbusters, the Americans have imagined the existence of aliens. The saga has aged with decades behind. But aliens have refused to reveal to the Americans.

Obama in a 2021 TV interview brought a heavy dose of humour to the subject of aliens. He had in fact sought to see classified files on aliens. But there were none, he said. Obama had said that the files dealt with unexplained aerial phenomenon.

On Thursday, Trump charged Obama with “a leak of classified information.” “This is a very serious issue. I don’t talk about it. It’s classified,” Trump told reporters.

Whetting American appetites for conspiracies and mysteries, Trump also dropped a ‘Breaking News.’ He ordered the release of all files related to aliens.

Trump and Obama are political rivals — across the aisles. Trump’s Truth Social account had hosted Obama couples transformed into apes for not less than 16 hours. Facing the charge of racism, the post was silently deleted — with no apology offered.

Obama is a vocal critic of Trump — amplifying that America will preserve its democratic values. He has lauded the people braving extreme weather in Minneapolis against Trump’s ICE agents who allegedly killed American citizens.

Obama is a Nobel peace prize winner. Trump has been expressly jilted for not getting the honour. Even Greenland flashed in Trumpian disappointment in not bagging the Nobel peace prize. Now, aliens connect Trump and Obama in America’s polarised political discourse. (This is an opinion piece. Views expressed are author’s own.)
