New Delhi, October 31: Pollsters are betting on a too close to call US Presidential Polls. The surveys are narrowing leads of the incumbent US vice president, Kamala Harris, over her Republican rival, Donald Trump.
The Republican candidate is clutching opportunities to turn the swing states in his favour. The latest ‘garbage’ jibe by the incumbent US president, Joe Biden, sent Trump riding a garbage pickup truck in Pennsylvania.
Trump is turning his sharp focus on swing states in the last six days of the electioneering left for the presidential polls. “For Joe Biden to make that statement, it’s really a disgrace,” Trump told reporters while speaking to reporters while riding a garbage truck.

Biden during a fundraising had been quoted as saying: “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.” This remark was made for Trump while Biden was seeking support for Harris from the Latino voters.
The White House quickly clarified to state that the remark was made for just one “comic” supporter of Trump. But the Republican candidate was already racing with his garbage truck to capitalise on Biden’s remarks.
The latest rounds of poll predictions state that Harris is narrowly leading over Trump. The lead percentage is just 1.5 per cent. Trump has bridged the gap from the initial days of the campaign. Harris is seen losing the initial advantages over her Republic challenger.
According to the averages of the national polls of trackers by FiveThirtyEight, Harris is leading over Trump in seven swing states too narrowly. The lead is just within the margin of errors of 0.8 percentage points according to the poll tracker.

The BBC’s analysis editor Ros Atkins in a video stated that Harris has a tightrope to walk in the Presidential election. “The vice-president is having to walk – between separating her vision for the presidency from Biden, and not criticising the administration she’s been part of for four years,” stated Atkins in an analysis video.
The latest Reuters/Ipsos polls pinned the lead of Harris over Trump to just once percentage, 44 per cent against 43 per cent. It also stated that Trump is gaining on issues concerning the economy.
The pollsters found the people positively inclined to Trump on issues such as inflation, unemployment, and jobs. Harris is seen facing the anti-incumbency for being part of the Biden administration while the economy is still constrained.
