New Delhi, September 2: The social media users are exuding confidence that they can once more pull the rug from under the feet of the big guns of Bollywood, with the fans of deceased Sushant Singh Rajput trending the boycott call against the upcoming film Brahmastra.

Brahmastra is releasing next week, and the social media users carpet-bombed the social media platforms with boycott call, linking the actors of the film for having promoted ‘anti-Hindu practices’.

The social media users claiming to be the fans of Sushant Singh Rajput, who had died in mysterious circumstances, shared videos of Karan Johar wherein he is heard telling the interviewer that he could launch anybody in the films.

Sushant Singh Rajput, a versatile actor came from Patna, Bihar, and within a short span of time received critics’ acclaims for his acting skills.

But his fans claim that he was a victim of nepotism patronized by the Bollywood producers, particularly a few families, which are seen to have disproportionate influence in the Hindi film world.

The maker of Brahmastra is Karan Johar, while Ranbir Kapoor and Akia Bhat are the lead actors in the films. They all incidentally come from film world families such as Yash Johar, Rishi Kapoor and Mahesh Bhatt to invite the charges of nepotism industry by the fans of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukerji.

The boycott Brahmastra is trending after a similar campaign against the Amir Khan starrer Lal Singh Chaddha reportedly failed to make a commercial success, with the social media users flooding posts from his film PK wherein he allegedly mocked at Hindu Gods and Goddesses.

Incidentally, while the social media users claiming to be the fans of Sushant Singh Rajput are promoting a blanket boycott Bollywood call, they are praising the South Indian language films for being respectful of Hindu customs and practices.

Brahmastra is said to be one of costliest films made in Hindi Cinema.
