Randeep Hooda broke the news on Instagarm. He wrote on Instagaram “We Have Exciting News.” He further wrote “A date with Destiny. 29.11.2023. Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjuna married Manipuri Warrior princess Chitrangada, we are getting married with the blessings of our families and friends. We are filled with immense joy to share that our marriage will take place on the 29th of November 2023, Imphal, Manipur, followed by a reception in Mumbai. Randeep Hooda’s marriage is a rare good news for Manipur in recent months. Manipur was engulfed in violence since May 3 this year and parts of the state continue to witness episodes of violence. Internet restriction is applied in Manipur.

Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram have been in relationship for a long time. They recently celebrated Diwali together. Randeep Hooda hails from Haryana. He is known rooted to the soil of Haryana. He oftens shares photos of the rural life in haryana.

More than 150 people have been killed in the state due to the ethnic violence. The manipur violence had also rocked the proceedings of parliament recently. The Opposition had demanded reply from the government over the violence. Several thousands have been displaced.
