Kangana Ranaut accuses Rahul Gandhi of being ‘destructive’

By Our Special Correspondent

New Delhi, August 12: The film actor and the first-term Lok Sabha Kangana Ranaut has claimed that the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is the “most dangerous man”. Ranaut also claimed that the leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha is “bitter, poisonous and destructive”.

The BJP MP made the insinuations against the Congress leader in a post on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter. She was commenting in the backdrop of the fresh set of allegations by the Hindenburg Research against the SEBI chief Madhabi Puri Buch for “massive conflict of interests”.

“Rahul Gandhi is the most dangerous man. He is bitter, poisonous and destructive; his agenda is that if he can’t be the Prime Minister then he might as well destroy this nation,” claimed Ranaut.

The film actor is known for making vicious comments against the political rivals. She was slapped by a CISF woman security person at the Chandigarh Airport in the month of June. The CISF security person had claimed that she slapped Ranaut for her statement that the women had taken ₹100 to sit at dharna at border for farmers’ protests.

“Hindenburg report targeting our stock market that Rahul Gandhi was endorsing last night has turned out to be a damp squib. He is trying everything to destabilize this nation its security and economy,” added Ranaut.

The stock market erased all losses after the first two hours of trade. The Sensex had dived by over 400 points on Monday. Afterwards, the indices turned green with Nifty trading above 24400 level.

“Mr Gandhi get ready to sit in the opposition all your life and the way you suffering get ready to suffer the glory, the growth and the nationalism of the people of this nation,” added Ranaut.

The film actor also said that “they (the people) will never make you their leader. You are a disgrace.”

Gandhi had posted a video message on X yesterday, questioning the role of the Security Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in the light of the allegations against the chief of the regulator. Gandhi had argued that the neutrality of the regularity is now under scanner.

It may be noted that the Supreme Court had tasked the SEBI to probe the allegations made by the Hindenburg Research against the Adani Group. The Congress had sought a probe by the joint parliamentary committee (JPC) into the allegations of the Hindenburg Research against the Adani Group.
