NEW DELHI, May 29, 2025 – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Member of Parliament Raghav Chadha is set to represent India at the Ideas for India Conference 2025, to be held on May 30 at the Royal Lancaster London.
The prestigious gathering is part of India Week, hosted by leading UK-based think tank Bridge India, and is expected to bring together more than 1,100 global leaders, policymakers, investors, and members of the Indian diaspora.
Chadha will participate in a high-profile discussion titled “India in a Multipolar World,” where he will share insights on India’s rising global stature, strategic autonomy, and its bridging role between the Global North and South. He is also expected to highlight India’s diplomatic and defence advancements, with a special focus on the recently executed Operation Sindoor.
“India’s recent defense advancements, exemplified by the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, have showcased the nation’s growing self-reliance and technological prowess,” Chadha said.
The AAP MP also said that “the operation not only demonstrated India’s tactical military success but also served as a powerful endorsement of its indigenous defence capabilities.”
The Ideas for India platform has previously featured notable figures such as UK Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner, former RBI Governor Dr. Raghuram Rajan, and Lord John Browne, among others. Chadha’s participation underscores the growing role of young, progressive Indian leaders in shaping global conversations on investment, sustainability, technology, and democracy.
This month, Chadha also spoke at the Asian Leadership Conference 2025 in Seoul, where he presented India’s evolving foreign policy doctrine and strategic priorities following Operation Sindoor.
Speaking ahead of the London event, Chadha said: “As global economic dynamics shift and the world adjusts to new geopolitical realities, India continues to stand out as a key driver of growth.” He added that “at a time when nations are rethinking trade relationships and supply chain resilience, the UK and India have a unique opportunity to deepen their partnership in meaningful, future-oriented ways. With renewed dialogue—particularly around the UK-India Free Trade Agreement—this moment feels both timely and essential.”
The Ideas for India Conference aims to generate actionable ideas for India’s next decade of growth, focusing on policy innovation, cross-border trade, and international collaboration. Chadha’s address is expected to reflect the aspirations of a new generation of Indian leadership that is globally engaged, reform-minded, and strategically visionary.
