New Delhi, June 24: Former President of the Congress, Rahul Gandhi, showed a copy of the Constitution when Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath as a member of the Lok Sabha on Monday. Sensing a storm in parliament over the raging protest against the NEET examination leaks, Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan is bracing to make a statement in both the Houses.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government is preparing to answer every question of the Opposition in Parliament. The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha commenced on Monday and MPs took oath as members of parliament.

But the government is now clear that it will have to face an aggressive Opposition. Due to the leak of NEET-UG paper, questions are being raised on the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The government has removed the head of NTA and handed over the investigation of the case to the CBI. Yet, the Opposition is only raising the intensity of attacks on the government.
During the oath taking ceremony of MPs on Monday, Opposition party MPs entered the House with copies of the Constitution. The government maintained that it is ready to give all kinds of answers regarding the NEET exam.

“The government has nothing to hide in this matter and it will present all the facts on the floor of parliament,” said a senior BJP functionary.
Opposition parties are demanding that the government re-conduct the NEET exam to safeguard the interests of the students and take the strictest action against the culprits of the paper leak case.
Pradhan is preparing to give a statement in the House in this matter. He will inform parliament about all the facts, added the BJP functionary.
The government believes that there is nothing to hide in this matter, because all the issues have come in the public domain. “The CBI and other agencies are doing their work. Soon all the facts will come out. The government is preparing to strongly raise the issue of paper leak during the Congress government in Rajasthan, including the strict law implemented to stop it,” sources in the BJP said.

Sources said that on Tuesday, the ruling party is preparing to protest against the Emergency. The ruling party adopted an aggressive attitude regarding the Congress’ opposition to the Protem Speaker.
The Congress protested against not making a Dalit leader the Protem Speaker on the basis of seniority. The government said that if Congress is a well-wisher of Dalits, then K. Suresh should be made the Leader of the Opposition.
It is clear from the attitude of the ruling party and the opposition that the current Parliament session is going to be tumultuous.
