Playing now ‘dictator or tyrant’ Donald Trump & ‘radically Left lunatic’ Kamala Harris
Joe Biden calls out for unity behind Kamala Harris

New Delhi, July 25: After securing enough endorsements, the US vice president, Kamala Harris, is minting campaign funds. Vocal Republican women and other leaders are also now vociferous in their support for Harris.
The US president, Joe Biden, in his almost farewell televised speech, sought unity in the ranks of Democrats for Harris. He took a dig at “those who wavered”, while asserting that the “US is more powerful than any dictator or tyrant”.
Former US president Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance is emerging as another polarizing factor for the November election. His remarks to the American broadcaster Tucker Carlson given in 2023 are now trending on the social media platforms.

“Women who haven’t given birth like Kamala Harris are childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives, and have no direct stake in America,” Vance told Carlson when he hosted a show for Fox News.
The US-based commentators have noted that Harris is winning support from women, middle class, and migrant electorate. “I’m a childless ‘cat lady’ and I’m only miserable when I think of what miserable men like this might do to our country and our lives. Therefore, I will fight with all my might to keep these #MiserableMen from winning,” actor Morgan Fairchild posted on X, formerly Twitter, while tagging the ‘cat lady’ comment of Vance.

The far conservative anti-abortion assertions of Vance have also become polarizing factors in the US election. The women voters already riled with the subversion of Roe vs Wade judgment are likely to bolster the poll campaign of Harris.
Trump, meanwhile, stuck to his trademark campaign strategy to lampoon rival. “She is a radically left lunatic who will destroy our country,” Trump has said about Harris.
Harris had been leading over Trump in pre-assassination bid television surveys by two percentages. Forbes, CNN, and Reuters have given contrasting poll survey outcomes with Harris gaining in two out of three.
“She’s experienced, tough, capable. She has been an incredible partner to me and leader for our country,” Biden spoke of Harris in his televised address.

Biden asserted that his achievements in the office would have gained him another four-year mandate, but he was putting aside “personal ambitions for the sake of the future of America”.
The US president invited derision from Trump. “”Crooked Joe Biden’s Oval Office speech was barely understandable, and sooo bad!” Trump stated on his social media platform Truth Social.
