JD (U) leader claims Nitish Kumar leads socialism of prosperity

 By Manish Anand

New Delhi, June 8: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government with Narendra Modi at the helm will take oath on Sunday evening at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders from the national capital are extending hospitality to hundreds of the invited people to witness the oath ceremony.

Socialist Nitish Kumar is the new cheer leader of Modi. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief, N. Chandra Babu Naidu, stays stoic while polishing his past image of a ‘change agent’ with passion for IT.

Modi vowed to diminish the role of the government for the people. He meant to cut down on the hassles faced by the people in the interface with the government.

‘Thandai (a cool sherbat made of nuts and black pepper)’ was in rich supply at the residence of the Janata Dal (United) leader K C Tyagi on Friday evening. Television crews found shelters in him as the other JD (U) leaders remained evasive.

“Nitish Kumar was the best of the socialists in the group consisting of George Fernandes, Sharad Yadav, and Lalu Prasad Yadav. The Lok Sabha election verdict restored the respect for Nitish Kumar,” chuckled Tyagi.

The JD (U) candidates credit their victory in the Lok Sabah elections to Modi. The party sources said that the BJP had run the election campaign of the JD (U) in Bihar.

The Bihar chief minister is now a subject of meme fest. He tried touching the feet of Modi after his speech in the Central Hall of parliament.

“Nitish ji is now leading the socialism of prosperity. His socialism is not of poverty,” Tyagi said amid free flow of plaudits for Modi.

The people gave a split verdict on two shades of welfarism. Modi stood as a paternal figure for the weaker sections by building houses and toilets. Rahul Gandhi, former president of the Congress, guaranteed to transfer money in the hands of the people to let them spend in manners they wished.

Barring Lalu Prasad Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav, socialist leaders of all hues came to the BJP to partake in the sweets of power. Fernandes, Sharad Yadav, and Kumar were saffron socialists.

“The BJP was weak when we were part of the NDA government during Atal-Advani era. The BJP had to keep the contentious issues in the shadow. Now, those issues have already been dealt with, and the Bihar chief minister has already stated that he favours reforms as far as Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is concerned,” Tyagi asserted.
