Lalu Clan Implodes as Rohini Acharya Lights the Fuse From Within

Patna, November 16, 2025 — Rohini Acharya, the dotting daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav, left for Delhi in a widely circulated claims that she has exited the family stable. Her exit came two days after the Bihar Exit in which the Opposition Mahagathbandhan (MGB) was routed.
“I was accused of donating bad kidney to dad, in exchange for money, ticket,” Acharya posted on social media platforms, before boarding a flight from Patna for Delhi. She also told reporters that “Tejaswi, along with Rameez and Sanjay Yadav, kicked her out of the family.”
During the election campaign for the Bihar polls, Acharya had grabbed media spotlight with cryptic posts on an inner circle surrounding Tejashwi. Her ire was seen aimed at Sanjay Yadav, a Rajya Sabha MP, and friend of Tejashwi from his school days.
With Tej Pratap Yadav also coming out of the shadow of his brother to launch his own political outfit, the Lalu Prasad Yadav clan has imploded to stage a family drama in Bihar in the thick of elections.
Political observers attributed the raging feud within the Lalu clan as signs of weakness of the leadership of Tejashwi. They claimed that the people picked up the message that Tejashwi lacked the stature and maturity to be entrusted with the responsibility of Bihar.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) could win just 25 Assembly seats in the Bihar elections by polling 24 percent vote share. Tejashwi is facing flaks within the party for questionable method in negotiations with the alliance partners in the MGB, as well as candidate selections.
