New Delhi, October 20: India has alerted Canada that a Khalistani terrorist Sandeep Singh Siddhu is working in the border police. India told Canada that the alleged terrorist is the killer of an Indian martyr, Balwinder Singh Sandhu.
India has informed Canada that late Sandhu, a Shourya Chakra awardee, was murdered by Siddhu. Times Now in a report said that India has shared details with Canada amid deteriorating bilateral relations.
India has long been asking Canada to stop protecting Khalistani terrorists. This is the first occasion when India has told Canada that Ottawa is actually employing terrorists in its security forces.

Sandhu was killed in Taran Taran in Punjab in October 2020. The National Investigative Agency (NIA) has held Siddhu to be the main accused. The NIA has also charged that Siddhu has been working at the behest of Pakistan’s ISI, an intelligence agency.
Sandhu was a highly decorated soldier. His bravery in battles against terrorists in the Kashmir valley won him the Shourya Chakra.
But he was gunned down while attempting to stop drug-trafficking in Taran Taran per news reports. Siddhu at that time was a drug-peddler while also working for Pakistan’s ISI per news reports.
By telling Canada that it is actually employing terrorists in its security force, India has put the credibility of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in a spot. Trudeau for over a year has been accusing India of involvement in the killing of Sikh separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
India has called claims of Trudeau absurd. India trashed the charges of Trudeau, saying that he had been making insinuations due to the domestic political compulsions.
