Haryana poll sets up with battles of houses in disorder
BJP & Congress brace for straight fight in Haryana Assembly poll

New Delhi, September 25: Poll heat is rising in Haryana with approaching single day of polling on October 5. Selja Kumari said that the Congress flows in her veins. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan heaped accolades on Haryana leader Anil Vij on Tuesday.
The Congress per political pundits is on course to wrest power in Haryana. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is carrying triple loads on its back – 10-year of anti-incumbency, rebellion in party ranks, and agitating farmers at the Shambhu Border.
From outside, Haryana spotlights a mat with multiple wrestlers in the ring. But the poll trail in the Jat land reveals a straight contest between the Congress and the BJP.

The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has a late Devi Lal legacy. The Jat-identity party splintered on ways land is parcelled after generations. The Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) partook in power with the BJP for four and a half years. But once dumped, the JJP is at crossroads to find poll narrative.
The BJP is experimenting in Haryana for past six months. In Naib Singh Saini as the chief minister, the BJP toyed with an idea to ride extremely backward caste (EBC) bogey and also cut the fat liver gathered by Manohar Lal Khattar with his “bureaucratic government”.
Bhupinder Singh Hooda is the Congress for all practical purposes in Haryana. The Congress leadership continues to walk on his path in Haryana. His son, Deepender Singh Hooda, wants to edge up.

“There is a war within the Congress. Selja wants to become the CM. Randeep Surjewala wants to become the CM. Both the Hoodas also want to become the CM,” said Union Minister for Home Affairs Amit Shah while addressing a public meeting in Tohana in Haryana on Monday.
Vij was the Haryana Home Minister in the Khattar Cabinet. Now, he is rebellious as he openly staked claims on CM post. Pradhan on Tuesday specially rushed to cajole him.
Vij is not the lone rebel in the BJP ranks. There are several who want to turn the BJP’s experiments sour to phase out old faces.

Chandigarh-based political observers are taking curious note of low-intensity BJP campaign in Haryana. The BJP chief Jagat Prakash Nadda had last gone to Haryana on September 19.
The Congress lately has been wiser in dealing with aspirations of satraps. DK Shivakumar in Karnataka now backs the incumbent chief minister Siddaramaiah fully. Selja spurned the offer of Khattar to join the BJP.
