A journey marked by policy transformation, digital empowerment, and global recognition shapes India’s path to 2047 under PM Modi’s leadership

On May 26, 2014, when Narendrabhai Damodardas Modi took oath as the 15th Prime Minister of India, the country was entering a new era. Today, after 11 years in its third consecutive term, the way the Modi government has given a new identity and right direction to the country through policy decisions, welfare schemes and positive global diplomacy is being called unprecedented in many ways.

The Modi government is now being praised in the country as well as abroad. This extraordinary journey that started with the basic mantra of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ is now moving steadily towards a developed India. In these 11 years, the far-reaching decisions of the Modi government have not only changed the condition and direction of the country, but have also played a major role in establishing India as a self-reliant and strong nation. The schemes of the Modi government, which make the lives of 140 crore countrymen easier, are proving to be a milestone in the development of the country today.

This government, dedicated to service, good governance and poor welfare, is emphasizing on inclusive development. This has also ensured a quality lifestyle for the people of the country. By assimilating the principle of Antyodaya of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the benefits of schemes are being extended to the last end of the society.

They are getting benefits on a large scale from this. Today, a large part of the country’s population belongs to the middle class. Needless to say, with integrated efforts and development-oriented model of economic progress, the life of this class has now become much easier than before. India’s economic reforms are now being discussed outside the country as well. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for a developed India by the 100th year of India’s independence i.e. 2047, is to bring about structural changes in the nature of economic development, improve financial and social inclusion, create a free environment of competition from a global perspective, create markets in labour-intensive sectors and create an environment of self-reliance in the energy sector.

The world is surprised by India’s digital revolution. Online transactions are now becoming the backbone of transactions. Those who ridiculed the Modi government in the matter of online transactions of small amounts are themselves overjoyed today. The way small and big businessmen across the country are doing their business through digital transactions, the problems of the common people have reduced.

Even Modi’s opponents are his admirers due to the opening of more than 48.93 crore bank accounts in the country through the Jan Dhan Yojana. Now the poor of the country do not have to worry about treatment in hospitals and payment of its expensive bills. Now senior citizens above the age of 70 have also been included in it.

Ayushman Bharat Yojana provides free health insurance cover of up to Rs 5 lakh. Providing free LPG connections to 10 crore poor families in rural areas of the country has also seen improvement in the health of women in these families. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign for women empowerment has increased the level of awareness in the society. 12 crore toilets under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan have become the carriers of revolutionary change in the matter of cleanliness in rural areas. This campaign of prosperity through cleanliness has also seen a significant decline in the child mortality rate in the country.

Providing drinking water to more than 11 crore families through Jal Jeevan Mission and more than 3.45 crore concrete houses to the poor is also a special achievement of this government. This government also gets the credit for taking the Indian economy out of a worrying state and becoming the fourth largest economy in the world. Steps like demonetization were also taken to curb black money. From encouragement to startups to continuous increase in foreign investment and improvement in ease of doing business, India has established itself as the world’s leading economic power in the last few years.

Today, investments are being made in India from all over the world. Jobs are being created. During the Covid period, the Modi government did not allow the country’s economy to be negatively affected. During this period, India manufactured vaccines within a short time and supplied them all over the world. Under the Modi government, ‘Virasat Bhi Vikas Bhi’ is no longer seen as just a slogan, but it has also ensured the preservation, promotion and promotion of the country’s culture, its heritage and traditions.

The inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya last year was a moment of pride and emotion for the country. By reviving and rejuvenating many religious and pilgrimage sites of the country including Kashi, Ujjain, the Modi government has given a new form to religious tourism. The initiative to open the Kartarpur corridor and the proposal to build a Buddhist circuit will ensure the movement of tourists at the international level. Whether it is the display of the country’s cultural diversity in the G-20 event or the initiative to organize Yoga Day — such events have only increased the pride of the country. On the occasion of Maha Kumbh, the whole world has appreciated its massive and challenging event.

Modi government tried to empower women of the society by making a law on the issue of triple talaq in Muslim society. This year, through the Waqf Amendment Act, digitization of Waqf properties and reform of unfair processes were done. Whether it is the event which showcases the cultural diversity of the country or the initiative of organizing Yoga Day — such events have only increased the pride of the country.

On the occasion of Maha Kumbh, the whole world has appreciated its huge and challenging event. The Modi government tried to empower the women of the society by making a law on the issue of triple talaq in the Muslim society. This year, through the Waqf Amendment Act, a framework was prepared for digitization of Waqf properties and reform of injustice processes. Extensive changes were made under the New Education Policy 2020, in which skill-based education has been emphasized. Apart from this, provision of loan up to Rs 7.5 lakh for higher education was made under the Pradhan Mantri Vidyalakshmi Yojana.

The abolition of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir was an important achievement of the Modi government’s tenure. The Modi government took the initiative to end separatism in the Northeast and took effective steps in this direction by talking to many rebel organizations.

This government has also dealt a severe blow to Naxalism in the country, as a result of which Naxalism is counting its last breaths in the country today. India has taken strong steps against terrorism and its supporters. Now the world also believes that India has left the concept of a soft state far behind.

Whether it is India’s surgical strike on Pakistan in the year 2016 or the decision of air strike on Balakot after the terrorist attack in Pulwama in 2019 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left no stone unturned in teaching a befitting lesson to the terrorists and their masters by properly representing the public sentiment of India.

The whole world has seen the strong leadership of the Prime Minister in the form of ‘Operation Sindoor’ and the valor of the armed forces after the Pahalgam massacre. Modi’s roar ‘If there is a bullet fired, then a shell will be fired here’ defines the Modi government’s zero tolerance policy against terrorism.
