Trump Looks Inward to Gain Strength for Greatness

By Manish Anand

New Delhi, January 21: The US President Donald Trump borrowed from his election speeches to deliver script for ‘Golden Age’ roadmap for the largest economy of the world. Trump announced another exit of the US from the Paris Accord. He also announced an exit from the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Within hours of taking oath, Trump signed order to get nitty-gritty of “energy emergency” in place. His wrath immediately fell on Mexico and Canada for whom he is now seeking 26 per cent tariff.

Indeed, the Trump administration has not imposed tariff from day one but three months’ window is left for negotiations. An immigration App went dark while Trump took oath to leave the people massing across the Mexican border to cross over into the land of dreams.

Trump also defined genders as just male and female in his inauguration speech. There will be no other gender in the US.

Former Secretary of the State of the US Hillary Clinton laughed heartily when Trump announced that Gulf of Mexico will henceforth be Gulf of America. His predecessor Joe Biden sporting smiling face while Trump belted out his rhetoric into policy actions.

India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar listened to Trump aptly from vantage position in the first row, in close proximity to the podium. The other foreign ministers of Quad were seated in third or other rows.

The Chinese Vice President Han Zheng stayed away from the Trump frame. Trump reasoned that the Panama Canal is to be taken back, for the key trade channel was never meant to be given to the Chinese.

“Drill, baby, drill…,” said Trump as he said that the wealth to build the ‘Golden Age’ lied just under the feet. So, Trump will lead the US to drill the “Liquid Gold”, the fossil fuel.

Trump Vows US Policy of 2-gender – Male & Female

Shares of oil and gas companies were trading lower on Tuesday after Trump vowed to pump the fossil fuel. Trump also paid obituary to the electric vehicle policy of his predecessor.

Under Trump, the US will be going back to fossil fuel while Nordic countries are racing to selling only electric vehicles. The Paris Accord walkout may also mean the Azerbaijan consensus for $100 billion in climate change mitigation efforts also going to the dustbin.

The WHO, already maligned for the coronavirus flip-flop, may beg China and India for additional funding for health interventions in low-income countries. The Global South, the club of developing nations, may find relief from Trump drilling fossil fuel, as inflation has been energy induced for past four years.

Trump Vows to Drill ‘Liquid Gold’ to Wealth on Inauguration

Russian President Vladimir Putin was quick to post a video message. Putin asserted that Russia had always been open for dialogue while the “outgoing US administration” was averse to discussions.

Putin sent feelers to Trump to start talking. If Ukraine reads the writing on the wall, there will be plenty of oil flowing into the global markets. Economy seems sorted out of pangs while Trump walks backward in search for the ‘Golden Age’.
