New Delhi, January 21: History coach Awadh Ojha is facing stiff contest in the Patparganj Assembly constituency. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate has run into anti-incumbency sentiments in Patparganj.
The AAP, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress have intensified their pol campaigns for the Delhi Assembly elections. preparations. The AAP has fielded Ojha from Patparganj Assembly seat.

Negi is hopeful that the voters from Uttarakhand will support him. He hails from Uttarakhand.
But Patparganj also has an almost 30 per cent voters base of purvanchalis. Ojha hails from Purvanchal background.
Negi is telling the people in the constituency that Sisodia changed the seat due to fear of defeat. He counts a host of civic issues for lack of governance by the AAP-led government in the city.
The AAP is hopeful that Ojha will garner support of the Purvanchali voters. Chaudhary is a local from the constituency. He hopes to get the support of the Gujjar voters.
“Both the AAP and the Congress are appealing to the minority voters. The Muslim voters can swing the outcome of the elections,” said Muhammed Irfan, a local in Patparganj.

Ojha is highly popular in his YouTube channel. His distinct style of teaching history has won him a huge fan following. But election appears to be a tough challenge for him.
“There is a pile of local problems in the Patparganj Assembly constituency. Cleanliness, bad condition of roads, poor upkeep of community parks, lack of health facilities are among issues being talked about here,” said Archana Singh, a local from the area.
Besides, stray animals on the roads also are nuisance for the locals. “There is a serious problem of water in many areas. This is a very dense area. There is a problem of sewerage,” said Kishan Tyagi, a local in the constituency.
The people also complain of lack of clean drinking water. “The condition of the roads is very bad. There is no cleanliness in Mohalla Clinic and essential medicines are most often not available,” added Tyagi.
