CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke announces a nationwide protest campaign, calls for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, ₹1 crore compensation for affected families, and greater accountability over the NEET examination controversy.

New Delhi, June 26, 2026 — Escalating its agitation over the alleged mismanagement of the NEET examination, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Friday announced a nationwide campaign titled “Pradhan Go Back”, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and accusing the Narendra Modi government of failing to ensure accountability.

Addressing a press conference, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said the campaign aims to mobilise students, parents, teachers, labour unions, civil society groups and activists across the country to press for political accountability over the recurring examination controversies.

“We are launching a nationwide campaign called ‘Pradhan Go Back.’ We appeal to parents, teachers, activists, labour unions and every concerned citizen to come together because this is the time to stand united,” Dipke said.

He alleged that the government had failed to establish accountability despite repeated examination-related controversies.

“How long will this country function without accountability? What kind of democracy is it where no one takes responsibility?” he asked.

Dipke criticised what he described as the government’s reluctance to seek ministerial accountability, saying public confidence in governance was being eroded.

“People say resignations don’t happen in this government. That cannot become the norm when lives are being affected,” he said. The CJP leader also demanded financial compensation for families of students who allegedly died by suicide following examination-related distress.

He urged the government to provide ₹1 crore as compensation to each affected family, arguing that many parents had incurred substantial debt to support their children’s medical entrance preparation.

“Many of these families come from middle-class and economically weaker backgrounds. Parents make enormous sacrifices so that their children can become doctors. When examination failures or paper leaks destroy those dreams, the government cannot escape responsibility,” Dipke said.

Referring to the paper leak controversy, he said years of preparation by students and financial sacrifices made by their families were rendered meaningless.

He further warned that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not act against Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, political responsibility would extend beyond the Education Ministry. “If Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not seek Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, then the Prime Minister must also accept responsibility for the consequences of these examination failures,” Dipke said.

The CJP has been staging protests demanding Pradhan’s resignation and has accused the Centre of mishandling examination administration. The newly announced campaign is expected to expand those protests beyond Delhi by organising demonstrations and public outreach programmes across multiple states in the coming weeks.

The Union government has maintained that it has taken several corrective measures to strengthen the integrity of examinations.
