People’s Manifesto Will be Given to All Political Partiers

New Delhi, January 13: A public manifesto of Delhi is being prepared for an all-round development of the national capital. More than 8500 senior citizens and social organizations of Delhi have participated in preparing the people’s manifest.

Electioneering for Delhi Assembly elections is in the full swing. The Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have come out with their schemes for the people. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is also making a slew of promises while the saffron outfit is expected to unveil the vision document for the national capital soon.

The civil society of the national capital on Monday held a press conference at the Press Club of India. The first draft of this public manifesto was unveiled.

This press conference was organized under the patronage and guidance of senior social worker Omkar Mittal. As the main spokesperson, senior social worker Ram Kumar Atri explained in detail the objectives and direction of the public manifesto for the all-round development of Delhi.

Atri said: “This public manifesto is based on a comprehensive vision for the development of Delhi, which will take care of the needs of every section of the society. In this, priorities like education, health, environment, transport, and social security have been given special attention.”

In the press conference, Abhishek from Delhi Jan Andolan and Arun Sahrawat from Jaivik Bharat Mission also shared their views on this ‘Jan Manifesto’. He said that this manifesto is very important for raising the standard of living of every citizen of Delhi and building a prosperous society.

“This manifesto will be dedicated to all the major political parties of Delhi state in the next few days, so that they can get a clear guidance for the comprehensive and balanced development of the national capital,” he said.

The aim of Delhi Jan Manifesto (2025-29) is to make the national capital an ideal city, which can be presented as a model not only in India but across the world, he added.
