New Delhi, November 17, 2025 — According to News18, the crackdown in the Al Falah University scam has entered a decisive phase as Mau Police arrested the brother of director Javed Siddiqui from Hyderabad. The arrest of Jawad Ahmad Siddiqui marks a major escalation in a probe that investigators say is uncovering deeper financial and operational links tied to the alleged terror-linked module.

News18 reports that authorities believe Jawad Siddiqui played a significant role in facilitating suspicious fund movements, including alleged transfers to Hyderabad through shell entities. Preliminary findings suggest that black money transitions, manipulated accounts and questionable asset transfers are now under close scrutiny.

Mithilesh Gupta of News18, reporting from the ground, said that investigators are examining old financial records, property transactions and digital trails connected to Jawad Ahmad Siddiqui. According to Gupta, several transfers appeared designed to mask the origin of funds, with some dating back several years and allegedly tied to fraudulent market activities.

News18 further notes that the arrest has triggered a deeper investigation into the operations of Al Falah University, which remains at the centre of the expanding case. Police sources told the channel that the Siddiqui family’s financial dealings, business networks and past fraud allegations are all being re-evaluated.

With the Hyderabad arrest, enforcement agencies are expected to widen the net, tracking money trails and potential associates of the accused. The probe continues to expose what officials describe as a complex web of fraud, misappropriation and covert financial maneuvers.
