AAP Interprets Messages From BJP Surge In Haryana

New Delhi, October 8: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has gone to the strategic brainstorming after the Haryana Assembly verdict. The AAP national convenor and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal warned party workers against complacency on Tuesday.

The BJP’s victory in Haryana is seen as a big challenge for Kejriwal. The BJP will now challenge the AAP in Delhi with full might. For this, the party has also prepared a strategy.

“The assembly election result in Haryana is a lesson for political parties. Even a won game can be lost due to overconfidence,” said Kejriwal. He added that “no matter how favorable the environment is, elections should never be taken lightly”

The AAP had entered the Haryana poll fray in a big way. Kejriwal had said in election campaign that the AAP will hold the remote of the next government in Haryana.

But the AAP could not get any success. The result of Haryana has made the AAP cautious. Kejriwal’s statement clearly shows that the party will not take the assembly elections to be held in Delhi next year lightly.

Kejriwal spoke about learning a lesson from the Haryana election results at a party programme. He said that one should never be overconfident.

“The biggest lesson of the Haryana election result is that one should never be overconfident in elections and no one should be taken lightly. Every election and every seat is difficult,” added Kejriwal.

Assembly elections are to be held in Delhi in February next year. Aam Aadmi Party has been in power in Delhi for the last 10 years. Many Aam Aadmi Party leaders including Kejriwal have been accused of corruption.

The condition of roads in Delhi is inviting attention of the AAP leadership. It will be a big challenge for the AAP to repeat old performance in the assembly elections.

Kejriwal asked the party’s MLAs and councillors to work hard. He told the councillors that garbage from their wards should be collected and disposed of properly.

The role of councillors will be important in the assembly elections. The AAP is in power in Delhi Municipal Corporation.

The AAP now has no alibi to pass the buck on civic issues. Kejriwal has understood this challenge. The BJP’s victory in Haryana is also a big challenge for Kejriwal.

It is worth noting that Aam Aadmi Party had fielded candidates on 89 out of 90 seats in Haryana. The AAP had tried to form a pre-poll alliance with the Congress.
