Yogi Dares Kejriwal to Take Dip in Yamuna

By Raisina Correspondent

New Delhi, January 23: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday addressed public meetings for Delhi assembly elections in Kirari, Karol Bagh, and Janakpuri.

Yogi called former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal “main culprit behind Delhi’s plight”. “As Chief Minister, I, along with my 54-member Cabinet, took a holy dip at Sangam in Prayagraj. Can Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP chief, dare to take a dip in the Yamuna with his team,” the UP Chief Minister at a rally in Kirari on Thursday.

Those who have turned the sacred Yamuna into a filthy drain do not deserve forgiveness from the people, added Adityanath.

Uttar Pradesh now 2nd largest economy, races ahead of Tamil Nadu

The Chief Minister spoke about the transformation of Uttar Pradesh. “Between January 13 and January 23, around 10 crore devotees took a holy dip at the Sangam in Prayagraj. The area now boasts excellent roads, electricity, and improved rail and air connectivity, with no signs of pollution or dirt,” added the UP Chief Minister.

The UP CM further accused AAP leaders of distributing Aadhaar cards to Bangladeshi infiltrators through machines installed in their homes. He claimed that these leaders settled infiltrators in key locations, including the Jamia Millia area and surrounding regions, where AAP’s legislators and councillors allegedly facilitated the settlement of Bangladeshi nationals on government land.

He addressed his first public rally in support of the BJP candidate Bajrang Shukla from Kirari Assembly constituency, followed by a second rally for Dushyant Gautam in Karol Bagh, and a third for Ashish Sood in Janakpuri.

Attacking Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party, Adityanath called the AAP convenor “the biggest culprit behind the deteriorating condition of Delhi”. He pointed out that apart from the NDMC area, the rest of Delhi faces poor infrastructure, with roads dotted with potholes, overflowing sewage, and a severe drinking water crisis.

“The garbage mountain and sewage running on roads were evidence of the Delhi government’s failure. Kejriwal and his party do not cooperate in efforts to clean the Yamuna River, causing inconvenience for the saints and devotees in Mathura and Vrindavan,” added Adityanath.

He also alleged that the “AAP spends most of its time peddling lies on social media and making false statements instead of focusing on the welfare of the people”. “Had they invested time in development, Delhi would have transformed in ten years, but instead, it had become a ‘garbage house’,” added Adityanath.

BJP Worries at Missing Congress Top Guns in Delhi Elections

“While Delhi has industrial areas like Okhla, the city has seen minimal industrial growth over the last ten years. In contrast, Noida, the ‘New Okhla’ of Uttar Pradesh, has become a prominent example of development,” he pointed out.

The CM emphasized the stark difference between the roads of Delhi and those of Noida and Ghaziabad. He also noted that people are leaving Delhi to settle in Noida and Greater Noida due to better opportunities.

Adityanath accused the AAP of playing with national security, stating that the 2020 riots in Delhi were orchestrated with the involvement of AAP’s MLAs and councillors. He also claimed that the party was responsible for the Shahin Bagh protests.
