Delhi roadshow launches nationwide outreach for Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2026 as the state seeks to deepen investment, exports, MSME growth and international buyer participation.
Lucknow, June 12, 2026 — The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday launched the nationwide promotional campaign for the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 with a high-profile roadshow in the national capital, signalling an aggressive push to position the state as a leading trade, manufacturing and investment destination.
Scheduled to be held from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, UPITS 2026 is expected to build on the momentum of previous editions that have helped showcase Uttar Pradesh’s growing industrial capabilities, export potential and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The Delhi roadshow brought together senior government officials, industry leaders, exporters and trade bodies, reflecting the state’s ambition to expand both domestic and international participation in the event.
Addressing the gathering, Uttar Pradesh MSME Minister Bhupendra Chaudhary described UPITS as a key platform driving the state’s economic transformation. He said the trade show has strengthened MSMEs, expanded market access for local enterprises and promoted flagship initiatives such as One District One Product (ODOP).
“As Uttar Pradesh advances towards becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy, UPITS will continue to serve as a catalyst for trade, investment and economic growth,” Chaudhary said.
Minister of State for MSME Hans Raj Vishwakarma said the event blends India’s traditional marketplace culture with a modern global trade platform, enabling artisans, small businesses and entrepreneurs to connect with national and international buyers.
Senior officials highlighted the trade show’s growing significance in attracting investment and facilitating business partnerships. Principal Secretary, MSME and Export Promotion, Shashi Bhushan Lal Susheel said the roadshow series aims to deepen engagement with industry stakeholders across the country and broaden participation from businesses and institutions.
The event’s organisers pointed to the impressive performance of the 2025 edition, which attracted more than 5.07 lakh visitors, including over 1.40 lakh business visitors. The exhibition hosted 2,228 exhibitors and welcomed more than 550 overseas buyers from 85 countries, helping generate substantial commercial opportunities for participating enterprises.
Industry representatives said UPITS has evolved into one of India’s most significant state-led trade events, bringing together manufacturers, exporters, startups, investors and policymakers under one roof.
The Delhi roadshow marks the first stop in a nationwide outreach campaign designed to attract buyers, investors and exhibitors ahead of UPITS 2026. Organisers are also intensifying international outreach efforts through partnerships with export promotion bodies to increase overseas participation.
With Uttar Pradesh aiming to become a trillion-dollar economy and contribute significantly to India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, UPITS 2026 is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting trade, exports, innovation and global business partnerships.
